This is my Bacon & Blue Burger:
It’s no secret that I love cheeseburgers.
And my love affair with Bacon goes back many years.
Blue cheese and bacon together makes me drool.
I started with freshly ground chuck from my local butcher. I think starting with quality meat makes a better burger.
I simply added salt & pepper and put them on the Big Green Egg:
Once the burgers were seared on both sides, I added thick slices of crispy bacon and topped them with crumbles of Maytag blue cheese:
I then closed up the cooker and let the burgers dwell until they were done and the cheese was gooey:
This was definitely a five napkin burger… the juices were free-flowing down my forearms like a raging river.
The Bacon & Blue Burger never disappoints me.

Not sure that you can go wrong with those ingredients! Bacon and bleu cheese are a couple of my favorite burger toppings. Looks amazing!
Wow. That is deadly. Nice looking burger and great pics, too. Try a slice from a cream cheese packet and then chop some jalapenos and sprinkle them on top…makes a creamy burger with a kick.
