Chicago Book Signing

John and I went to Chicago last weekend for one reason.

So I could attend the I Just Want to Pee Alone book signing event being held at Bongiorno’s Italian Deli & Pizzeria.

The book I Just Want to Pee Alone is a collection of essays from 37 hilarious mom bloggers.

Since 15 of the co-authors were in town for BlogHer ’13, they agreed to get together for a night of signing.

Before the event, I joined a couple of the authors and a few other blogger friends for dinner.

I already knew I loved these ladies, so you can only imagine how excited I was to finally meet them in person!

We ordered a couple of pizzas and talked as if we’d known each other our whole lives.

They even waited 3 seconds for me to snap a picture of the pizza before we dug-in.

Sheesh, food bloggers.

Let me introduce them to you!

Front row: Katy from I Want A Dumpster Baby, Jen from Blissfully Discontented, and Me.

Back row: Catie (Sam’s adorable daughter), Sam from Tripping While Standing Still, Tara from You Know It Happens At Your House Too, Andrea from The Underachiever’s Guide to Being a Domestic Goddess, and Rebecca from Frugalista Blog.

I don’t know how many people showed up for the book signing, but there was a constant flow of fans for over an hour!
