Our last two activities in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe were all about The Falls.
Victoria Falls, known by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi oa Tunya, The Smoke that Thunders, is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is the largest waterfall in the world.
After whitewater rafting the Zambezi River, we walked the path next to the falls.
I tried to think of words to describe it.
Powerful. Emotional. Dynamic. Mighty.
Aggressive. Breathtaking. Overwhelming.
Marvelous. Determined. Wondrous.
But those descriptions are inferior.
We went back to the Safari Lodge for a light snack:
And to watch the sun gracefully set over Zambezi National Park.
The next morning, we went on a helicopter ride over The Falls.
Oh my goodness.
Again. No words.
What an amazing 17 days.
And it all started HERE.
