Discovery’s Final Flight

As a native Floridan raised on the Space Coast, I grew up with the Shuttle Program.

There is just something about a shuttle launch that gets me every time.

The emotions are hard to explain but there is a noticeable tug on the heartstrings.

This morning I joined thousands of others on the beach to witness Space Shuttle Discovery’s final flight.

It was the perfect morning for saying goodbye.
