Nusa Dua and Water Blow
In May 2016, I spent several days exploring Nusa Dua, an area in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia.
Nusa Dua means two islands: nusa ‘island’, dua ‘two’.
Nusa Dharma Island is on the northern side and Peninsula Island is on the southern side.
I think one of the best things to see in Nusa Dua is Water Blow.
The waves come in a narrow opening:
And when the waves hit the reef, pressure rises causing the water to blow up.
I visited at high tide just after sunrise.
You’ll want to plan your visit for high tide as that will offer the best blow.
To get there, enter Garden of Hope located at the end of Jl. Pantai Mengiat:
And simply follow the signs to Water Blow.
But don’t worry about finding it:
You’ll be able to see and hear it!
Fun, right?!
