Skiing Squaw Valley

In March 2012, we headed out to Squaw Valley for several days of skiing on our college kid’s Spring Break.

We rented a house on the slopes that had easy access to the gondola & tram and a gorgeous view.

Squaw Valley had little to no snow prior to our arrival. I have to admit I was getting a little worried.

Thankfully a huge snow storm came through right before we arrived.

The snow was awesome all week.

 

We woke up to snow on our second morning:

Fresh Powder is amazing!

By the last day we were all experts (in our own minds).

So much fun!

On our way to the airport in Reno we drove along Lake Tahoe.

And spent some time lakeside too.

Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe are beautiful places.

I am so thankful for the time we had there together and I can’t wait for our next trip!
