Sunshine State Eggfest 2013
John and I went to the Sunshine State Eggfest over the weekend.
What is an Eggfest?
It is a venue for people who enjoy cooking on a Big Green Egg or who want to start cooking on one.
I think the beach is an awesome venue, don’t you?
There were about 45 cooks at the Sunshine State Eggfest and 500+ tasters.
John and I were tasters.
And there was a lot of outstanding food to taste.
Several desserts, too!
We bought our Big Green Egg in 2003 but this was our first Eggfest.
It won’t be our last.
We met so many wonderful people.
I talk to most of them on the forums — HERE and HERE — but this is the first time we met in person.
The after party was a blast, too.
EggHeads are good people.
And just when you think you can’t eat another bite… this happens.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who gave so much time to make the Sunshine State EggFest such a huge success!
It was an amazing weekend of food, fun, and friends!
