Bacon Wrapped Brazilian Beef
One of the markets near us makes these Brazilian Beef Skewers.
They start with Filet of Sirloin rubbed with a “house blend recipe of 30 herbs and spices” and then they wrap them in bacon.
How can you go wrong with that?
I seared them on all four sides for about 5 minutes on each side and then shut the cooker down and let the beef dwell for a few minutes.
Honestly, I wasn’t paying a lot of attention to how long I cooked them.
I was watching the storm that was quickly rolling in thanks to Tropical Storm Debby.
I almost finished the cook before the rain.
Almost.
I don’t know what they use in their Brazilian rub but it is an impressive combination of spices.
And the filet of sirloin was ridiculously tender.
The market did all the work and we got to enjoy the results.
Can’t beat that!
