French Onion Soup

It has been quite cold here in Florida.

The first cold snap of the season created a voice inside of me that screamed out for French Onion Soup.

But you can’t make French Onion Soup without having the perfect bowl to serve it in, right?

Right.

So, I went to Crate and Barrel and found exactly what I needed:

Merry Christmas to me!

I also found appetizer plates and flatware that we needed.

We had another cold snap on Monday so I went to The Pioneer Woman’s website for guidance.

I am usually a very bad recipe follower, but I followed her directions the whole way.

It was rich, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping it would be.
