Parties and Potlucks
We have a big weekend coming up with Football and Labor Day.
Whether you are throwing a party or going to one, you’ll need a delicious dish to share.
Here are a few of my favorite go-to recipes for parties and potlucks:
Calico Beans and Four Cheese Macaroni are both perfect side dishes for a crowd:
And: are always the first things gone at a party.
Looking for an easy salsa? Look no further.
This Spicy Pear and Mango Salsa is a huge hit and won’t last long, either.
Everyone loves shrimp, right?
Shrimp Burgers with Wasabi Aioli on Hawaiian Rolls are like sliders, only WAY better.
And these Green Lighting Shrimp can be eaten as is, or served with tortillas and taco toppings for an unbeatable shrimp taco!
That Spicy Pear and Mango Salsa above is the perfect shrimp taco topping.
Every party has poppers these days, but not every party has Jalapeño Shrimp Poppers!
Speaking of poppers, these Chicken Bombs are when chicken and jalapeño poppers collide:
Chicken thighs stuffed with a jalapeño that has been stuffed with cheese and then it’s all wrapped in bacon!
And every great party needs Chicken Wings — these are my grilled wings cooked for about an hour at 300F.
The result is crispy, tender, smoky goodness.
Or! How about some succulent fall-off-the-bone Baby Back Ribs?
You might think you are full, but you know you have room in your “dessert stomach”!
Fresh Berries with Mascarpone Cream and Michelle’s Chocolate Ice Cream are excellent ways to end a day of eating.
And last but not least, this Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Casserole will make serving breakfast after a crazy long weekend a cinch.
It can be made a day ahead, so all you have to do is toss it into the oven when you wake up.
Everyone can casually eat when they decide to roll out of bed while you sip coffee and recover.
Have a happy and safe weekend, Y’all!
